On a more personal note, I met with a colorectal surgeon mid-February, and we will attempt my reversal/reconnection surgery probably in July. I’m feeling well enough now to write and have online meetings and should be recovered enough from the next surgery to start teaching private voice students again in the fall. I’ve learned post-op recovery will do what it will do, regardless of what a good patient I am, but it doesn’t hurt to have a general time frame in mind!
